A team is put together by Cobb to invade the mind ,of a businessman through his dreams. Can they succeed ,and more importantly ,can they get out?

After the gigantic success of Dark Knight,Nolan took up a pet project of his on which he had been working on for the last 10 years. With a budget of almost $160 million and a secretive plot many feared weather the movie could reach up to the standards of TDK or the rest of his movies. It didnt,it actually turned out to be greater than all his previous movies.

Inception is not for the lazy viewers. You cant relax or skip scenes. The movie requires your complete attention, lack of which can cause you to get extremely confused towards the end.

Inception like previous Nolan's movies is a crime-thriller.Its a heist movie which has a healthy dose of drama and emotional scenes.

Nolan's favourite themes are present.A flawed hero with a dark past seeking redemption,Non-linear timelines, realistic settings.
Something that really is special to this movie are the timelines..Nolan juggled upto 4-5 timelines (dream layers) and still managed to not lose the viewers attention.

The music by Hans Zimmer doesnt disappoint.Just like TDK depended upon the background scores to set the tone of the scene involved ,this one does the same too.In addition to the brilliant score,it also keeps track of the multiple timelines that the movie goes through.

Just like the cinematography for Insomnia ,Wally P once again caught the beauty of the dreams and it really is just amazing to see his work in Inception that it just makes you go speechless.

The Acting Department once again is solid. The Inception cast was Nolan's most star studded .
Be it Leonardo(Cobb) ,Ellen (Adriane), Tom Hardy(Eames), Joseph Gordon (Arthur) ,Ken W(Saito) ,Marion C(Mal) ,Cillian (Fischer) all were perfect. The characters are well drawn up and enough time is given for each of them. All shine in their respective roles.

The Editing is crisp and tight..Each sound, visual, dialogue is relevant to the plot and at times its fun to notice how they match up as the movie progresses.

The plot of Inception was a closely guarded secret. No one outside the production department knew what it even dealt with.Even the trailers refused to give any insights to the plot.By the time the movie released, all people knew was it dealt with a team getting into others dreams.

Ofcourse once youve seen the movie, its hard to explain the movies plot without going to specific details.

For such sheer ingenuity Nolan was praised.Inception had an original plot and wasnt part of any series. And yet it became a huge hit.Critics and audience alike bowed to the creative mind of Christopher Nolan.

And just like the multi layered timelines,it had 2-3 climaxes.
But it was the final 10 seconds of the movie that fueled the craze for Inception...Theories upon theories of various possible explanations flooded the forums of Internet Sites.

With Inception, Nolan proved that he could make blockbusters which not only was original but also encouraged the audience to use their brains while enjoying a movie.

But the Oscars as usual snubbed Nolan. The Academy's decision to not nominate Nolan for a much deserving Best Director received harsh criticism world wide.
