The Middle [3x18]

The Middle [3x18] Leap Year
TV com Rating-9.1
RJG Rating-10

Sue's birthday falls on the Leap Day and she expects a surprise party, while Mike's late night outing reveals a secret hes been hiding for 7 years..

Unbelievably ,Middle pulls off yet another sweet and charming episode..The climax is so heart warming that ...i dono...it just melts your heart...Not in any dramatical way,but in a funny yet emotional way..Hats off to the writers..

Walking Dead [2x11]

Walking Dead [2x11] Judge, Jury, Executioner
TV com Rating-8.2
RJG Rating-3

Rick And Shane consider killing their prisoner off..Dale objects..

And here we go again...Another pathetic episode...seriously what is going on?...
They waste an entire episode discussing whether they should kill the prisoner [who was rescued by Rick from a group of zombies and nursed back to health]..Almost 3 episodes are wasted for this prisoner...And this prisoner is a 18 year old kid, whose only crime is he had joined anoother group out of necessity and knows the whereabouts of the Rick & teams location..Just kill him if you need to,just do it..but no..a long long conversation takes place...and the only guy who objects is Dale..will he change their minds before sundown?

Another excruciating and untolerable character is the kid...I just wished he would get eaten by a zombie already..Too much..
Lori is another over the top charecter...She does no good justs walks around and talks crap..
And considering the twist this episode <SPOILER> Dale dies in the end,his death is stretched for almost 10 min...People are deciding whether to kill him or let him struggle and die on his own...
If this was some B-grade zombie movie i could have let this pass, but for a new-age and slick show as Walking Dead (as shown in Season1),all this is unacceptable...Now referring to the comic book (on which the show is adapted from) ,Dale doesnt die such a meek death..He doesnt even die this early..

I suppose the next episode will be wasted on the kid mourning that it was his fault that the zombie escaped and killed Dale...
This is getting worse than Terra Nova...

Young Adult (2011)

[A Boring & Predictable Movie]

Young Adult (2011)
IMDB-7
RottenTomatoes-82
RJG Rating-45

Mavis ,a writer ,returns to her hometown to win back her ex-boyfriend ,who by the way is a happily married man.

Starring- Charleze Theron
Director- Jason Reitman

Jason's 4th movie after the charming Thank-You For Smoking ,Juno & Up In the Air...Unfortunately Young Adult fails to charm like the previous 3...

Charleze gives a fine performance as the lead..The supporting cast was also quite good..

Story is what's missing..Its a very simple plot disguised as a very philosophical movie of sorts..Another weakness is its highly predictable end...

The ending also failed to tighten up the loose ends of the characters..
The movie is a dark-comedy..There are scenes of humour, but Jason R isnt able to deliver them..

The movie may appeal to serious viewers but not for all..
