The premiere of Sherlock Season 3 has been
postponed to early 2014.This can be directly related to the fact that
both the lead characters have been doing some big budget and
anticipated movies.Benedict Cumberbatch ,who plays Sherlock Holmes ,is playing the villian in 2 big
movies.Hes playing the villain in Star Trek 2 and will later on join
his Sherlock co-star, Martin in the Hobbit Trilogy ,playing the
motion-capture dragon ,Smaug in The Hobbit Trilogy.
Shooting for the Season 3 (which is said to be the final season) was expected to start in Jan 2013 ,but this has been pushed back due to the stars busy schedules.This can be due to the development of The Hobbit trilogy.Hobbit was previously supposed to be a 2part movie ,but Peter Jackson later on wished to expand the middle portion a bit more ,and thus came ,The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013) .Jackson will be doing more shooting in Jan 2013 ,and would need both Freeman & Benedict for shooting.
