Hobbit news from Comic Con

Peter Jackson showed 12min of new footage from The Hobbit Part 1 at Comic Con.But he played it safe this time by showing it only in the normal 24fps format (earlier the 48fps format drew a LOT of negative response at Cinema Con).

A new trailer for The Hobbit will come out some around September 2012.

But a bit of a shocking news was Jackson's interest to shoot more footage.This could lead to either :

-Extended versions for the 2 parts of the Hobbit (more likely)

-3rd MOVIE FOR THE HOBBIT ! (less likely)

As you probably know ,Hobbit is currently split in 2 parts/movies

Hobbit Part 1-An Unexpected Journey (December 14 2012) and

Hobbit Part 2-There and Back Again (December 13 2013)
