Dirty picture is based on the life of famous South Indian dancer/actress Silk Smith....

Dirty picture is definitely one of the best movies of Bollywood in 2011...Having a solid cast and witty dialogues the movie never goes dull..

Vidya Balan has delivered once again a splendid performance..She is sure to sweep up all awards just as she had done in 2010 for her role in Isqiya... The supporting cast consisting of Naseerudin Shah,Tusshar Kapoor,Emraan Hashmi,Rajesh Sharma (as Keeda Babu) were excellent...The only negative about them was that Emraan's role was too short.It could have been a bit more longer..But this doesnt affect the movie in anyway...

Direction was great..Fortunately,Milan Luthria didnt exploit the matter too much and shot everything in a very "decent" way..
Another high point for the movie was the witty dialogues..

The negatives are few and quite minor...The second half of the movie goes into a bit of a dull mode after the energetic first half...

GDT is the remake of the Swedish movie with the same title...And this version is almost the exact same Swedish movie scene for scene...All the scens are shot the same way it were in the Swedish version...Other than for a couple of tiny scenes the US version is a replica of the Swedish version..The end ,though, is different...unnecessary actually..

But if you haven't watched the original, this one is more for the artistic viewers..Just like the original,this one too was very boring...The mystery of the missing/dead girl was too far fetched and theres a chance that the viewers can easily get confused by the large family (one of which is the suspected killer)..

The movie is also very dark and slow..The pace of the movie is generally slow..

In the acting department ,Rooney Mara steals the show..She practically changed herself to play this role..Daniel Craig is also good enough..

Direction is pretty much ok...David Fincher could have atleast shot the movie differently rather than copy the Swedish one...

The movie is a Long (2.30 hrs) & boring...

2010 was a big year of animation movies...A majority of the animated movies released were top of the class movies..One of them was Megamind..The movie was a surprise to the critics...

One of the first things that one feels after seeing this movie,is its story...The story is fresh and has a charm of its own..And the whole concept too is quite refreshing from the obviously usual ones..

The characters were nicely developed and are likeable..
The animation is perfect and are upto the best standards..Megamind is one of the best animated superhero movies ,a must watch..!

Kal & John are great as the lead characters,and their adventures are just as wild ...The story isnt too great but for fans of the series this isnt much of a problem...the latest attraction to the series is the 3D ,and these guys have surely blown it up all over the movie..
