Dirty picture is based on the life of famous South Indian dancer/actress Silk Smith....

Dirty picture is definitely one of the best movies of Bollywood in 2011...Having a solid cast and witty dialogues the movie never goes dull..

Vidya Balan has delivered once again a splendid performance..She is sure to sweep up all awards just as she had done in 2010 for her role in Isqiya... The supporting cast consisting of Naseerudin Shah,Tusshar Kapoor,Emraan Hashmi,Rajesh Sharma (as Keeda Babu) were excellent...The only negative about them was that Emraan's role was too short.It could have been a bit more longer..But this doesnt affect the movie in anyway...

Direction was great..Fortunately,Milan Luthria didnt exploit the matter too much and shot everything in a very "decent" way..
Another high point for the movie was the witty dialogues..

The negatives are few and quite minor...The second half of the movie goes into a bit of a dull mode after the energetic first half...
