The Artist (2011)
The Artist (2011)
IMDB-8.5 [Top 250: #178]RottenTomato-97
RJG Rating-95
George Valentine, star of the silent movie era ,meets Peppy Miller, an upcoming dancer who rises to fame...
Starring - Jean Dujardin ,Bérénice Bejo
Director - Michel Hazanavicius
The Artist is a black and white silent movie, but dont be thrown off because of this....Artist is one of the most beautiful movies of 2011l...Its not just a romantic movie but is an experience for the current generation of movie lovers..In an era of special effects and CGI ,3D etc ,its getting harder for producers to capture the attention of the public..But "The Artist" just shows how the most simplistic of all movies can just have the same pull as the movies of today...
Its ironical how this silent movie is winning hearts , since the movie is about the demise of the silent era...
The acting is just top class..Jean (George M) gives off a brilliant performance, his presence itself has a magnetic effect on the viewers..
Direction is also solid..Michel has brought the viewers something fresh..The silent movies have been long gone forgotten but the Artist is a tribute to this lost genre..
Artist is a front runner in the Oscar race and i hope it bags the most awards...A must watch....

30 Rock [6x02] Idiots Are People Two!
TV.com rating- 8RJG rating- 6.5
Tracy gets in trouble with the gay community, while Liz tries to keep the details of her new boyfriend a secret from Jack...
A better episode compared to the previous one but still its missing the usual spark...The comedy was just average and only existed in Tracy's story....The show may pick up soon though..

Person Of Interest [1x12] Legacy
TV.com Rating- 9RJG Rating- 10
Reece & Carter work together to protect a new POI ,a lawyer..
POI continues its fantastic run...Fincher's background is an interesting new ground that is being progressed cautiously each episode..The story never dims and never too dramatic..

Walden's girlfriend has a problem with Walden's beard..While Alan's pathetic life continues..
Seeing this show is more of a pain now..The show's comedy has lost its punch , and now its all just a series of gross jokes..Even the show doesn't have much of a story to continue either..
Modern Family [3x13]
Modern Family [3x13] Little Bo Bleep
TV com Rating-7.6RJG Rating-10

Marshall & Lilly move to long island creating a gap within the friend circle...
A nice episode but some things are missing....The last part of the Marshall story was nice, but the Ted & Barney story was disappointing and felt like a repeat of previously tried out jokes...the hit series seems to be running out of ideas..

Sherlock [2x03] The Reichenbach Fall
T.V.com rating-9.8
RJG rating-10
The final case for the great detective?
The season finale for Season 2 of Sherlock just leaves you breathless.A masterpiece of an episode...
Bringing up a sinister villain as such as Moriarty and pitting him up against Sherlock for the "final problem" just makes this episode an edge of the seat thriller...
Benedict as Sherlock gives in his best and he truly shines once again,Martin Freeman as Watson is not far behind in the acting department...
A must-watch show.Its simply the best....

The Hecks use the Donahues car while they are away..Will they as usual mess it up?
Even though it may not be the most funniest show,it certainly is a very charming show...Middle somehow is able to mirror the lives of a middle-class family..This episode follows in the same manner...
