Amazing Spiderman Preview

Sometimes the marketing for certain movies goes completely overboard. For example, today Sony released a 25 Minute preview of the Amazing Spiderman. Yes,25minutes. And this wasnt a particular part of the movie, but it was a montage/trailer of the whole movie.People who did watch it verified that it pretty much shows the whole plot of the movie within those 25min.
Sony realizing their mistake (hopefully) ,took down the video. So if you do come across any more trailers or the said preview, for The Amazing Spiderman ,please do give it a miss.

Brave tops the Box Office

Pixar's made its 13th first place opening with Brave this week ,earning a solid $66million.While Abraham Lincoln:Vampire Hunter opened at 3rd place with just $16million.

With Brave ,Pixar made a strong comeback after 2011's bigtime disappointment,Cars2.Even though Brave didnt garner overall positive reviews,it did manage to rack up 74% at RottenTomatoes.

Madagascar 3 landed into 2nd spot with $20million.Overall the movie has made $157 million domestically and $365million worldwide.Considering its still going strong,Madagascar3 wont be slowing down for another week or two.

Abraham Lincoln:VH ,was expected to bomb at the box office collection especially since its negative reviews (39%) and because of the general lack of interest in the public, but fortunately $16 million was a decent opening for a movie expected to bomb.

Prometheus moved down to 4th place with $10million ,to take its domestic collection past the $100million mark. The movie has so far made $260 million worldwide.

Finding Nemo (2003)

[beautiful tale of a father and son]

Finding Nemo (2003)
IMDB- 8.1 (Top 250: #171)
RottenTomatoes- 98
RJG Ratings- 95

Marlin a clown fish sets on a journey to find his lost son Nemo.

Starring- Albert Brooks,Ellen DeGeneres,Alexander Gould
Directed- Andrew Stanton

Finding Nemo is Pixar's 5th movie and is directed by Andrew Stanton.Just like it did for A Bug's Life ,Pixar creates a stunning life centered around nature, this time being sea-life.

Animation is top notch and is stunning throughout the duration of the movie. The attention paid to detail and animation of the various sea creatures is outstanding.

Unlike previous movies,Finding Nemo's basic story is more dramatic in nature.A father losing his only son and his journey through a lot of perils was very mature of Pixar to tackle.Yet FN finds humour in the story and delivers a fun adventure.

Pixars ability to create a bond between characters and the viewers is clearly seen in FN.

Finding Nemo not only captivates the kids but also will keep the adults entertained with its sweet story.

Pixar once again topped at the Box office ,and got excellent reviews. It was the 2nd highest grossing movie of the year ,behind LOTR:Return Of the King.Pixar won its first Academy Award for Best Animated Movie for Finding Nemo. This was just the first of many Oscars Pixar would bag.
