Avengers reaches 600million

Avengers has finally reached the $600million club domestically.It reached the mark on the 54th day since its release.Titanic would have been crossed had it not been for its April 3D release which added around $58million to its 1997 collection of $600million. Meanwhile Avatar still reigns on top with $760million.

Men In Black 3 broke The Avengers' three week reign on the top of the box office.MIB3 made a solid 55million in its first week,while Avengers slipped to 37million in its 4th week.

This brings Avengers' domestic total to $513million,overtaking Star Wars 1&4,Lion King,Shrek 2,PiratesOfThe Caribbean 2 and ET.It now sits at #4 in the domestic list, with only Dark Knight (533m) ,Titanic(600m) & Avatar(760m) in its way.
