Amazing Spiderman , Ica Age rake Big Bucks

Amazing Spiderman opened to more countries and made a solid $127million from the foreign territory this week.So far the movie has made $311 million (including $144million domestic collection).

Ice Age 4,which is yet to open in the US ,made $82million in its second week in the foreign market. So far it has made $211 million.

Meanwhile ,the opening for TDKR is currently a hot topic.Experts say the movie has a solid chance to make $160million in its opening week in the US.Even though this may be a pale comparison to the Avengers $207 million opening ,it should be noted that TDKR wont be making extra bucks in 3D like The Avengers did.Even though most movies these days are taking the 3D route ,Nolan has stayed away from this .

Will this hinder the Knight's collection? Only time will tell

Nolan not connected with Justice League

When asked whether he would have any role in making the Justice League movie ,his reply was :
"No, none at all.We're finished with all we're doing with Batman. This is the end of our take on this character."

Nolan also said he wouldnt be involved with the reboot of Batman.

"Batman will outlive us all, and our interpretation was ours. Obviously, we consider it definitive and kind of finished. The great thing about Batman is he lives on for future generations to reinterpret, and obviously, Warners will have to decide in the future what they're going to do with him,we've had our say on the character."

"I've got no plans to do anything more, and certainly, no involvement with any 'Justice League' project."

This may be a sad news to many ,but in my opinion Nolan should be allowed to take up new projects and not be confined to the world of superheroes.

Micheal Fassbender in Assassin's Creed

Well it looks like another game is to get the movie treatment and this time its Assassins Creed.The game has a very deep storyline perfect for making a series of movies with ,but unfortunately no videogame adaptation has made a critical impact in the movie world ,yet.Prince Of Persia ,Resident Evil ,Max Payne ,DOA ,Silent Hill ,Lara Croft etc have all got mixed or bad reviews.

Micheal Fassbender is so far on a roll ,delivering back to back hits.All 3 movies of his in 2011 were all critically appreciated.And everyone will agree that he was the best in this years hit Prometheus.Could Fassbender extend his capabilities into Assassins Creed ?We have to wait and watch..
For those of you who arent familiar with Assassins Creed ,here is a short synopsis:

Desmond Miles (Fassbender) learns that his ancestors were trained assassins after he is kidnapped by a mysterious organization related to the Knights Templar. They strap him into a machine that allows him to project himself back into any of his previous ancestors, so that he winds up as as an assassin in the Holy Land during the Crusaders.

Tom is known for his wide variety of outstanding movies such as Big,Sleepless in Seattle,Philadelphia,Forrest Gump,Apollo 13,Saving Private Ryan,Cast Away,Catch Me If You Can,The Terminal and many more.He also voiced the main character of Woody in the Toy Story series.

he is one of the rare actors to have won the Oscar twice in a row (for Philadelphia & Forrest Gump).

Amazing Spiderman Arrives

The Amazing Spiderman racked up a decent $140 million in its 6 day opening.Its opening weekend collection was $65million.Meanwhile it made $201million in its foreign collections to bring its total tally to $341million worldwide.Unfortunately its expected that Spiderman might not hold up very long considering the mixed reviews its been getting,although it managed to get 73% at RottenTomatoes.

Ted stood strong and made $32million in its 2nd week.
Brave made $20million and brought its domestic collection to $174million.Its expected to also cross the $200million safely and become Pixar's 10th movie to make the milestone.Brave also helped Disney to become the first studio of 2012 to make a domestic collection of a billion dollars.

Ice Age 4 opens this week (July 13) ,and is expected to make a huge opening.It has already made a foreign collection of $198million.
