Madagascar Beats Prometheus on Opening Domestic Weekend

The animated kids adventure movie, Madagascar 3 made a strong $60million on its opening domestic weekend.But Prometheus fell behind and opened its account with $50million.

Both movies are doing well in foreign markets as well.Madagascar made $75million while Prometheus did better with $91million.

News on the Terminator Series

Arnold Schwarzenegger ,star of the Terminator series ,has revealed some exciting news about the franchise.

1-Its said that there will be 2 more movies (parts 5 & 6) and the 6th part will be the last of the series.

2-The movie will continue where McG (director of the 4th part- Terminator Salvation) left.

3-Unlike Salvation which had a CGI cameo from Arnold ,the next 2 movies will have him in the main role.

4-Shooting starts next year,and is expected to last for 6 months.

Considering nothing is being said about Christian Bale (he played John Conner in Salvation),its safe to assume ,that yet another actor will be hired to play as John Connor.

Sounds awesome, but you have to wait for quite sometime since its release date is February 7th, 2014.

A slight WARNING for fans of DARK KNIGHT RISES & PROMETHEUS

If you want to be mesmerized by these 2 movies at the theaters ,its time to block any more info about these two. Be careful about the things you read about both these movies, since ive noticed that too much details are being revealed.

Make sure the reviews you read about Prometheus are spoiler free.Most critics will warn you before reading their review if it contains any spoilers.

As for TDKR , the latest news reveals the back story of Bane.It may not be too much but still ,i believe Nolan's movies are best experienced without knowing too much.

So be alert before reading anything about TDKR for the next 6 weeks.

The Vow is based on a true story ,and is lead by stars of some major chick flicks.Channing Tatum (Dear John) & Racheal McAdams (Notebook) as the lead pair are close to perfect and have a charming chemistry with each other.McAdams was the steady performer, while Tatum had some great lines every now and then.

Story is straight forward.It has its moments but sometimes it gets dull in a few places.But their is freshness to the whole approach tried out here.The movie could have been a melodramatic movie,but thankfully it doesnt.

Overall,this is only for viewers who like chick flicks,while others may find it boring and tedious.
