John carter was one of Disney's biggest movies of 2012.Its a visual feast for the eyes.The movie is the adaptation of the famous story "Princess Of Mars" written by Edgar Rice Burroughs.

Taylor Kitsch & Lynn Collins give a decent performance as Carter & the princess respectively.They arent outstanding but they arent bad either.The supporting cast too has no main highlights so to speak.The movie gives more priority to the effects than concentrate on the emotions of the characters.

Story too wasnt anything great or spectacular but it did have an epic feel to it.

Andrew Stanton ,the acclaimed director of Pixar masterpieces Finding Nemo & Wall-E ,has handled the movie of such epic proportions quite well.But unfortunately the heart of this movie seems to be missing.Another problem that might lag viewers is the beginning part ,which is a bit slow since the audience has to be introduced to John Carter's earthly life. But once the Martian landscape is seen, the pace never goes down again and the real adventure begins.

The main highlights of this movie are its Visuals and its action sequences.All the fights are top class and keep the viewers at the edge of their seats.
The Martian landscape & the CGI characters are all realistic and blends flawlessly with the storyline.

The movie was meant to be the start of a trilogy but considering its failure at the box office,this might be the only John Carter we might see for a long time.
Overall this movie is definitely a fun movie to watch with friends.Action junkies will love this.

GI JOE 2 POSTPONED

This has to be one of the biggest blunders made! Gi Joe 2 has been postponed to March 29 2013 ! The reason is that Paramount wants to convert the movie into proper 3D.The movie was already gaining popularity but this postponement may drain all interest.

Once again Middle failed to fully shine but its okay though,the episode was good.

Even though it wasnt as awesome as usual ,Middle still had a heart warming episode.The episode was mainly on Sue ,but also had a great subplot on Mike & Frankie's different point of views.It was also nice to see the ever positive Sue getting some much needed support.

Journey 2 is the sequel of 2008's Journey to the Center of the Earth (Brendan Fraiser & Josh H). It like its predecessor is a awesome visual treat.

The main highlight of the whole movie was Dwayne 'Rock'. His charm easily lifts the movie and sets it on course and the viewers are able to forgive the cheesy dialogues and over acting from Josh & Vanessa.Luis is a great comic relief for this movie and he gives ample support to Dwayne for many funny sequences.Michael Caine is wasted.

Story is average.It isnt very great and just plods on.Direction from Brad is not very good.The movie drags in many places and when its time for a plot point ,it quickly picks up pace and ends up looking a rushed up scene.The movie is also too kiddish and lacks common sense in many scenes.The cheesy dialogues exchanged too is quite embarrassing.

The visuals are upto the mark (although the Center of the Earth is still better). The island and its bizarre nature is well captured but not extensively utilized.The action scenes are also quite good.

Overall ,fans of Dwayne 'Rock' will enjoy it.Due to the overdose of kiddish material ,kids will love this movie.

The new POI is a psychiatrist who seems to be on the target list of one of her rich clients.

Yet another classic episode from POI.This episode is easily one of the best of Season1.The number of twists & turns that keep popping up every corner is just brilliant.The whole scene with Reese trapped in a building was amazing.The ending was a fitting end to this season.

With that POI has wrapped up its first season.Jonathan Nolan's foray into the small screen was hands down amazing.Anyone watching POI can easily see how the Nolan's midas touch has turned this into a masterpiece.Casting Jim Caviezel (who has an uncanny similarity with Christian Bale,who played Batman) as a vigilante ,is a perfect match.Micheal Emmerson as Finch was also a standout.This show is a perfect package of crime,drama and some sweet action.Cant wait for Season 2 !
