Another Avenger to hit the big screen ?

Director Edgar Wright (Shawn of the Dead ,Hot Fuzz) has always expressed his desire to make a movie on Ant-Man. But due to the lack of interest from Marvels side,the project had been shelved for a long time.Until that is ,Edgar posted the following pic, with the caption:"Received this in the mail. What can it mean?"

Could The Avengers big success encouraged Marvel to finally give Edgar the green light?
For those who aren't well versed with the Marvel Comics ,it was Ant-Man & his wife ,Wasp who were the founding members of the Avengers.Ant Man's main power is of shrinking & calling upon ants.

James Cameron lists his next 3 movies

Visionary director James Cameron (Terminator, Aliens, Titanic, Avatar) has said he wishes to make 3 more Avatar sequels and then stop.

James Cameron has always been an ocean fanatic and has been to many under water expeditions (recently he went to the Mariana Trench,thus being the first person over 50 to visit). Cameron says he wants to stop making movies after Avatar 2,3 and possibly Avatar 4. He furthers explains his reasoning saying that he would express everything he ever wants to tell through these 3 movies.And anything more would be through documentaries. Also he added he would stop producing any other movies.

Holy Crap !! Avengers smashes the opening weekend record !!

Even though it was well expected to break the current record ($169million by Harry Potter 7 Part 2) ,no one expected it to make $200 million in its opening weekend !!
Avengers has been doing tremendous business worldwide.Its foreign collections have already crossed $400 million.
The closest competitor to challenge The Avengers now is The Dark Knight Rises.Could TDKR break 200million ?Its highly doubtful.

The current record holders are as follows:
1-The Avengers (2012) - 200 million
2-Harry Potter 8 (2011) - 169 million
3-The Dark Knight (2008) - 158 million
4-The Hunger Games (2012) -152 million
5-Spiderman 3 (2007) - 151 million
